Snapshot #2 — 2010

While still relating to street photography, Paul’s images identify with the cinematographic universe.

The pictures are taken randomly. Blindly, when the camera is stuck on his back. More intentionally when fixed to his side. In both cases they indicate a double posture, a double movement : the subject’s and the photograph’s, in his inclinations during the triggering. Balance and flexibility are involved.

These photos, taken with the body rather than the eye, establish a panel of different psychological and physical states in which the individuals seem drawn into an absent-mindedness.
